Monday, 11. The expedition across Bayou Macin returned to day with a loss of two killed and 9 wounded. The loss of rebels [unclear] to be greater.  Papers state that Potomac Army has reversed the [unclear] Recd a letter from Sherman and Atlantic Monthly. Wrote to Barnes. Reported [ unclear...]  to Genl Grant.
