Just as I was emerging from the crow and found my friend Collyer I heard an altercation in a saloon across the street there was only a few words when I heard the simultaneous report of two pistols. I got very much excited and was rushing to see what was the difficult when my friend Collyer caught me by the shoulder and very cooly told me I must not go near them I asked him what it was and he said he guessed it was only a man shot |
