As I passed the Peak, I took a good look at the nook in the mountain side, where "Brigham? Bob"'s great exploit was consumated. and the incidents of our former trip flashed thro' my mind, but it was only a brief & distant view, as the clouds driven by the north wind soon hid the mountains. & when we reached the valley below night was unclear & soon the only light about us was
