February, TUESDAY, 24. 1863. Pleasant day. Quite a fire in town. Learned of a fight at Greenville & that Maj Muddy was killed. Sent up the Regiment 3d Brigade Geno Grant came up today. Rode over to the 2nd Brigade & made a pleasant unclear call returned unclear
