If Andrew in the sea wavy deceptions weaved For a long season against the scaly pack, Left the liquid element He cherished then in his chest a better yearning;
The Galilean shores forgotten, He moved to the Scythian banks his cheerful foot, Where to a nobler fishing at the time devoted He prided himself on fishing souls to GOD.
