To all Christian people to whome these presents Shall Come - Greeting Know ye that I Daniell Coit of New London In the County of Newlondon and Colony of Connecticut In New england - Gentleman for the Consideration of forty three Shillings money to me In hand paid by Seth Wetmore of Middletown In the County of Hartford and Colony aforsaid - Do give Grant Bargain sell Convey and Confirm into him the said Seth Wetmore his hiers and assigns all the Right Tytle Interest Share and proportion that I have In the Common and undevided Land In the Township of Middletown aforsaid on the East Side of the Greate River [strikethrough: Had] To Have and to Hold the Said Granted and Bargained premises - with all the appurtanances thereto Belonging or any wayes [wages?] appertaining unto him the said Seth Wetmore his hiers &c - [strikethough: In Wch] to his and these own proper use & Benifitt for Even In Witness Whereof I have hereunto Lett my hand and Seal this - fifteenth Day of November In the Tenth year of the Reign of our savereyn Lord George the Second of Greate Britan the King - &c Anno Domni 1736 -
