of being removed and preserved. As no positive or historical evidence can be had that these are Natchez crania, I will state the facts from which I infer that they are. The only people known to have been in the country since the French took possession of it are Europeans, Choctaws, Negros and Natchez Indians. The form of these crania clearly determines that they are neither of the first three, and that they represent one of the four is evident from the fact that they were buried with European Ornaments.
