| We received wedding cards of Miss High and Mr Noyes. Mrs Chas P. Boal has a son five weeks old. Mrs Potter Palmer's baby is 4 months old, born in January. Octavius Badger and Miss Mattie Faulds are engaged to be married, so is Miss Katie Isaacs and Mr Horace G Lunt. Alice Hilton engagement with Mr John Whitney is broken off. So is Ella Badgers engagement with Mr Lincoln broken off. Horace Badger is to be married in July to Miss Sophia Hutchinson. Miss Eva Badger to be married to Mr Chas Angell in June. Ada commenced singing lessons with Miss Root in April 21st. Sheridan and Shreve take music lessons instrumentally from Miss [[Killner?]] they play very well. Ada has a fine voice, also plays well. Our white foot horse sick with fever and sorethroat. My sisters in Louisville sent the Harvey baby many beautiful presents. | Today is beautiful and bring but cool. My family are all in fine health. Hunt wild [[unclear]] Montgomery Queens Circus. Uncle [[unclear]] says he will take him we are all very busy making up spring work, my three sewing girls all busy with their machines. Mrs and Miss Laflin called today, I went out riding this afternoon with Shreve and Hunt, went on the North side, the Sisters of the Good Shepherd promised a girl named Leah Frial to nurse Belle's baby. Ada gone to take her singing lessons from Miss Root. Sheridan gone to Dr. Allport to have a tooth filled, Shreve has 4 little white mice, 2 weeks old. It is his second lot he is very proud of his new family. The monkey Jack is lively as a cricket, Belle came here today in her fine new carriage with Mrs Nelson her nurse and baby.
