Hoping to go aboard the [?steamer?] at once - but much to our disappointment he was not in, but expected every minute- So we went to a convenient (?) over looking the River and were [?rewarded?] in about two hours by the appearance of Steamer Robert Mitchell, bound for New Orleans- We found our room had been served for us so went aboard at once.
