And is was principly through his agency that I joinned the school - My school commences two weeks from to day - The school closes here week from Saturday next and on that day I shall take the stage for [illegible] - Therefore I shall not be at home this vacation, also fact I shall have no vacation - I been enjoying as good health this summer as I did in the spring - But it is better however than it was when I was in the City. the warm weather does not seem to agree with me, and I shall be glad when it becomes cooler I have taken the school in such John Lambs [illegible] to teach this winter - I am to have $20 per more the $ keep three months - Providence has favoured me much I think in regard to my getting occupation For I obtained the school in Chesterfield & in Petershaw with no expence of time or money - I have wrote to Erasmus, Edwin, and Lydia lately - I have had no answer, as yet, from either of the. I directed Edwin's letter to Baire where I suppose he is. Mother I wish you would write and let me know how you get along and what you will want this winter, also how the little children are. I intend to write to David before long. Give my respects to them all - Tell Edwin when he goes to school this fall I wish he would make it in his way to call upon me - my respect to Lydia when you see her. Write soon.
