Dear Mr. Hitz: Doubtless you have returned from you vacation and are disappointed in not finding a certain manuscript awaiting perusal. I'm more than sorry that it is not quite completed, for I've set a date several times for the real finish. I've been working hard at it, however, in the time I could snatch from other duties and when I could get the better of the weather - blows it hot of cold it prevents me from carrying out plans. I don't know how many times I've been kept at home bu rainy days. Certain exciting events that have called for
