In the evening we Killed Familial quadrivalent, and saw several Grisley Bears wallowing places. _ These are large & round and about1 foot to 18 inches deep. 18th Friday. Fine weather. Bell dropped at a superb male Elk. caught 4 Cat [[unclear. _ The 2 Bulls killed last night had not been touched either by Wolves or Bears to our astonishment we stopped to make an oar.
