Dear Marietta, I am now down at the desk for a long letter. I have so much to write that I hardly know where to commence. The "Constantine" arrived on here June ninth yesterday morning, having changed her train at Fort Townsend. She brought 3 letters from you, the latest from Indianapolis June 1st. The others from Memphis. George is married. It is well. I hope he will reform & "reconstruct". I am glad you stayed &
