An Act for calling out of Circulation of Assembly. Whereas from the scarcity of Specis and the the payment of the Public Debt Bills of Credit seventy three thousand seven hundred and made Current by virtue of the Act entitled "claims for omitting Bills of Credit and for it is now thought proper that the said Bills thereof paid for the same. Be it enact Maryland that the Bills of Credit emitted are hereby required to be brought in and Western Shore on or before the first day of The Iron Chests or other safeplace which burnt by a Committee of both Houses of next Session after the said first day of that all Bills of Credit emitted by virtue of and delivered to the Treasurer aforesaid on shall be ever hereafter irredeemable. And whereas "payment of the public Claims for emitting Bills "mentioned", passed at a Session of Assembly on Saturday the first day of November in the six it was among other things enacted Dollars and aliquot parts of a Dollar to the three thousand seven hundred and seventy struck and that the Bearer of any the said Bills should be entitled to receive Bills of Exchange payable in London at the rate of four shillings and six [word off page] pence sterling per Dollar for any of the said Bill and that his Lordship th [word off page] right Honourable the Lord Proprietaryor the Governor or Commander in [word off page] of this Province for the time being at some time between the twenty fifth day of March
