Capt Mix is a very good officer, has a fine Co. & is very attentive to & concientious in the discharge of his duty. I do not believe he would originate difficulty, but believing he has been outraged by Capt N. (having been place under charge of a sentinel) he is bitter & vindictive. There is no hope of a peaceful post if those two are left together. St. Arum is simply a fool. He goes off to accept his Captaincy, so there is no need to say more of him. | |||
