Surgeon Brown, U.S.A.    These last two has been received since I wrote my letter of the 9th inst., and rather tend - I think -to confirm the justness of Russell's Report.

                                                                                  San Antonio, Tex., April 15, 1872.

MO.MIL.DIV. Colonel James B. Fry, Asst. Adjutant General Mil. Div. of the Mo. Chicago, Ills.

                            A camp of armed Mexicans one hundred strong was broken up and seven Commissioned Officers and thirty seven Privates captured by Capt. Meyers 9th Cavalry at Fort McIntosh on the 6th.  They are Juaristas and most of them probably the same that recently surrendered at Fort Duncan.  Valdez was in command, but not captured.  The Privates were disarmed and paroled - The Officers are just arrived here as prisoners.  What shall be done with them.
