My Tom and Calency suekseaded in keeping the Indians off of Hester untill they got back in to Red River bottom there the Indians quit them, and they came over to the ranch. As soon as I could make the nesesary preperations, I started in company with 5 others to took after Mr Bersell found him and carried him to the bridge that night and had him berried this next day.
