Dear Sister Cynthia,
I think I owe you, personally a letter, though I have written home twice since I have heard from any of you. Being the first of the month you are all enjoying a little rest, I hope. I am glad father has had it a little easier this Winter. Hope his health is better and that he will feel stronger. I thought he and mother both seemed quite feeble when we were there. Hope they are both better and stronger. They ought both to take it as easy as they can. Hope you are all well. Does Anna get any stronger? Hattie was saying this afternoon, she would give most any thing if was only out in New York now, that is, at Grandpa's, that is where she wants to be and there she thinks
