Today was the funeral of Mrs Henry W King, she leaves one son. Frances, Mrs [[unclear]], Mrs Bentley. I received cards of congratulation from Rev [[unclear]] Clinton Locke. also a card of thanks from Mrs [[Jean?]] Book for the book I sent her. also a note of thanks for sympathy, from Mrs Louise Duffield Parker, 2509. Harrison [[unclear]] Evanston. I wrote a letter of thanks to Mrs Philip [[Battet?]] Stewart, Colorado Springs, [[ucnelar]], San [[unclear]] St. I wrote a letter to Adele Louise Badger, bidding her good bye, as she returns to Notre dame Academy, Indiana, her vacation is over.
