Friday Nov. 30, 1973 Dear Jack -
I hope that all was wine and roses at the Grand Bash for Writers in Revolt at The Old Town School of Folk Music. I will ask our librarian to buy it for the edification of the natives. I will send the flier about the book to Jesse Stuart in Kentucky along with the 'Sage of Moberly' article from Daily News Panorama. Someone sent me a clipping not long ago, in which he had some kind words for you. I deeply regret not being able to get to Chicago for the festivities as I am awaiting a call from Vet's Hospital in Iron Mountain, Mich. for eye surgery. Cataracts on both eyes, but can still appreciate a well turned ankle. I will send along a copy of the fortieth anniversary issue of Esquire magazine which may be of some, social, cultural or nostalgic interest.
