You wrote me a beautiful long letter on 3-26-74 snuck it into an issue of the Fool Killer and mailed all 3 plus your letter for 12 [[cents symbol]] MAGAZINE rate on 3-26-74- the rate changed on 3-1-74- We moved on 4-9-74- Note dates carefully- All writers except historians & attys are piss poor on dates- it did NOT arrive at CHULA VISTA UNTIL 4-16-74- postage due 12 [[cents symbol]] It was forwarded to SAN DIEGO, postage due 48 [[cents symbol]]- First class Mail because of the letter- we were not at home- Sylva walked a mile each way to the P.O. up & down a hill to pick up the mail- she thought it might be a warrant from DIRTY DICK- we read it [[underlined: w/o Delay]] but I did not see your letter until 530 A.M. this morning.
