Norman Luboff, Marv David and I have been commissioned by the commission to write a Dramatic - Musical Cantata about Gov. Coles and the anti-slavery struggle in early Illinois  1819 - 1824. The working title, "Exodus [[underlined: to]] Egypt." (The idea and research are mine.)  We're all very much excited about it.
    I've been asked, tentatively, to play Bet & Million Gates for some [[underlined:  Steal]] companys [sic] during three week ends in April next which [[underlined: may]] interfere with our Arkansas plans.  But I'll get to see you somehow.
