My Dear Mr [Roder?] I have read with great interest and appreciation the Public Library's Report. It registers many Signs of these times. to which attention should be called more widely. I may devote my Daily News Editorial Column to this end. Will it be any more helpful, timely sooner or later?

I am especially interested in noting the great progress registered since the [branch?] and Station [unclear] and the children's work, began in 1906, the initiation of which I watched with great hope, while a [Director?]. You all have bravely labored under many shadows but have shed much light and cheer upon thousands depressed in spirit through these dreary years. Cordially Graham Taylor.
