Dear Jack -
I was delighted to hear from you - Often I wondered about you.
Sorry about your loss of Gladys. Dave Rothstein died in 1983 - I did not know of Paul Romains death.
In any case you & I are still kicking dust - altho I just came back from a
heart attack hospital stay. I expect to be back in my office in a couple of months.
Actually most of the time I spent at the office was entertaining old left wing
buddies who drop around to see if I'm still about. It would be the greatest pleasure to see you again & to take you to Berghoff for a weiner-schnitzel & beer. Could that be? ? Meyer your face should be on the stamp
