I never got a reply to letter I sent, but that is water-over-the-dam, or something!?  Judy is getting $150 a month from his WWII service and according to Nelson he may be in line to get more, if Judy can find out how to go about it.  Our neighbor, who was in WWI and wounded, said to me just the other day that he had decided the veterans were getting screwed - he's 84, on the 13th - a nice old Italian guy who doesn't bother anyone - so he says.
The other day, the 14th, I went to doctor for my check-up -- said I was doing well as could be expected, and a week hence the doc was changing my pills, since he assumed I only had a few - I had 800 in eight bottles - his secretary told me those 800 pills were worth between 30 and 40 dollars -- I asked her if maybe I could make a trade, she said no but may be  the doc would keep me on the old medicine since I had so much of it.  The doc didn't say that, so assume I am stuck with 800 pills, a gift from the Clinic.
Have to lug 'em way back to Clinic!  Trouble, trouble.  Yrs, Jack II
