I am free to work a year on my own writing, and I'm putting in some good licks. I expect to get into New Orleans the last week of September. Perhaps you can give me some suggestions as to a loft where I can set up shop? | ||

Sept. 2 Dear Sherwood No doubt George wrote you I would be coming down to New Orleans this autumn. I am here with some ideas for motion pictures, but I don't know how to get in to the film? "maggots" and I don't suppose they would want my modern German ideas anyway, so I shan't waste time with them. I am free to work a year on my own writing, and I'm putting in some good licks.
