Hartwick August 30th 1806

Having an opportunity to write to you again I thought best to improve it we are all well the children have had the hooping caugh verry bad Henry had it six weeks and two days before he got any better but now he dont caugh but a little & he is a verry good boy he has grown verry poor he weighs 14 pound Fanny has had it four weeks she has verry hard spels of caughing but not verry often it was as hard for her when she had it only a week as it is now she did not caugh so hard but verry often Hez Granger? was here three weeks a go he give me something I think was verry good for them I am glad they have got so far threw with it I have got along with it with out getting sick my self I thought some times when Strong & visa was gone I should give up for the children was at the worst then & I had three work folks all the time they was gone they was to work to
