We'll see!  Anyhow - Doug & I are going to have a summer - this summer - in New York if it's humanly possible.  You don't believe it?  I'll bet you a boat trip around the island. left margin It's odd how writing to you helps. If I'd mailed all the letters I've written, you'd have to enlarge your mailbox. I don't want to talk to Laina & your mailbox provides an innocuous outlet. Don't flatter yourself that it's an Emminent Author I'm writing to. It's your mailbox. (I never could quite digest the fact that you're a U.S.P. You're too real & not at all Fiedlerish.) If you were a deaf & blind centipede with a mailbox, I'd still write.
