The picnic is over and I can breathe freely again. It was a grand success Not so many oldsters as last year, and two things didn't get done - the exhibition of our old
photographs, and the checking of the people who attended. But we succeeded in getting a new set of officers who are younger and while inexperienced, will carry on, we hope, with greater efficiency. Our secretary has been most remiss, tho the most pompous. And Byrum, tho handicapped physically to a certain extent (and much must be allowed on that account) is not an organizer nor a real leader.
