Dear Jack,
We're back from the Dorland Mt.
Colony today. A wonderfuly experience - only 5 people on hundreds of acres! Squirrels, rabbits, a deer, a fox, hawks, owls... and dozens of wild flowers among the oaks, cacti, scrub bushes. Kerosene lamps at night. So Paul and I enjoyed a month of uninterrupted time for our writing: he, on
"Leonardo's Journal" and I, on a book of
memoirs.
Among the letters waiting here was
yours with the good news about The Jack Conroy Reader - we're happy and want to order a copy! Bless Friday the 13th... wish we could be on hand at Court's to improve the sales count!
