An agent came to the house yesterday with a vacuum cleaner, selling at 44.50 cash, $49.00 on time, with a 24 foot cord, reaching very handily from the kitchen plug to all parts of the front room. He left it for a 2 day trial. Will be back tomorrow. Do not know yet whether I will take it or not. Looks something like the Hoover. Have my rugs nice and clean now, anyway. | |||

Malcolm is entirely over the mumps now. Perhaps it is just as well that I waited so as not to catch them.
