We've a nice place here - large house and a lot the size Grossmutter's was, with shade and fruit trees. The yard has been neglected, tho, and will need lots
of work to get in shape.
Was so sorry your mother went back without my seeing her. Better luck next time! And now - I'm really ashamed to tell it, but I haven't read the book yet! With Aunt Carrie here there's no time for loafing! I love having it around tho, knowing
that it's there waiting for me. It's the first book I've ever had that I didn't read right away. That's the penalty for having so many babies!
