Still on the boat, but expect to leave to morrow morning.  Attended theatre & heard "Leeper G Day" pretty well played.  Came very near being arrested for being out after hours contrary to city orders.  Sat up until late talking - as the day has been stormy & unpleasant. Paid [[Freid ?]] Crawford what I owed him.  Wrote to Mrs. Wickersham.

Tuesday, 20.

Morning still here & will be some time yet delayed. It does seem impossible to get away. Started past afternoon going some 30 or 40 miles & laid up for the night. Very pleasant on the boat. X 1— X


Wednesday, 21.

Started early this morning. Arrived at unclear before noon & laid by for an hour or more. Saw Col. Bussey. Saw Rice & Kittridge. Sat until late before retiring. Pleasant & agreeable company on board.
