Oct 18/ - midnight Dear May, I know you won't mind a pencilled note in reply to your welcome letter read this a.m. I only wish I had read all those "thought letters" "beef and pork" - wait till I tell Ed Garlits and Scott Nearing on you! They don't even eat eggs or drink milk, but I don't go that far. I don't balk at a little meat in my chop suey. and I occasionally eat chicken but I like best fruit, nuts, cereals, (in moderation). and above all raw-vegetable salads in quantity.
