O, God, Tafren dearie, if you could see your poor mudder now! I'm in a saloon (politely named the Green Tree Hotel - but where the green tree is, I don't know) but I'm not going to stay here if there is any way of getting out. I came here from O'Fallon this morning got here at eleven on the Inter-urban. There was no one around at the stopping place, but I spied a young fellow standing in front of a building and I asked him if he knew of any boy I could get to carry my suit cases to the Green Tree Hotel -where ever that | O, God, Tafren dearie, if you could see your poor mudder now!
