                             parts of he United States, The people's minds appeared 
                             much terrified during it's continuance, but like the
                            Children of Israel who sang praises to the most high
                             for their deliverance, & soon forgot his works.
             17     3        Rode to Pott's Town and lodged at our kind friends
                             Thomas Rutters.
              18     4         Rode to Joseph Pott's & were kindly entertained,
                             here I met my Nephew  Samuel Parrish, his Sister Sally &
                             Cousin P.? Marshall weeping for the decease of Isaiah
                             a beloved brother & Cousin to P. Marshall with whom
                             I had to mingle my tears in Sympathy, here I heard
                             that my beloved Wife & Daughter by the advise of
                             their friends had lift the City
              19     5         Rode to Brother Field's to see my Daughter & din?
                            my wife being at Hezekiah Hibberd's in upper
                            Darby where I arrived in the Evening, and found
                            my Wife tolerably well, our meeting truly
                            Joyous, after an absence of more than 4 months.
                                  My mind was bowed in reverent thankfulness to
                           to the father of Mercies for the favours received, under
                           a persuasion that he put forth and went before, and
                           in Mercy restored me to my dear Wife & tender
                           relations, before I was quite laid by, soon after my arrival
                           Sickness ensued with a scorching fever, which with 
                           the Daily accounts from the City of one friend &
                           relation after another being taken away, made
                           deep impressions on my mind, I hope not to be
                           forgotten
