then they have nothing to do but get | (5) then they have nothing to do but get wood and in the Summer they are very busy with their farms It is the most interesting to hear of how the Moquis farm and how they work They are the most curious people so industrious The other morning I went up on the Mesa for a model and I saw 4 stark naked little boys each one with a long line fastened to him and 4 Indian men at the other end of the line then there was an Indian with a big drum and 3 Indians singing the naked boys were ahead and they would stop at every house & a woman would come out and pour ice cold water on these baked boys back. What do you suppose that was for. It was so that it would rain or snow soon. | ||
