He was taxed for temple tribute as was others but had nothing to pay & had to work a miracle to obtain the small sum. In his public ministry he was loved by some and hated by others. Called all manner of names by the unrighteous Pharisee. as a drunkard- glutton- friend of publicans and sinners. His feelings, for he had sensibilities such as we, are expressed in such prophetic words as these- "Reproach hath broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness, I looked for some to take pity but there was none, and for comforters but I found none." | |||
