Dear Sister Anna,
John went to town on horseback yesterday for the mail, & today he goes to mill thus leaving an opportunity to answer our letter promptly for once. He brought letters from you, from Eddie & Edward. We were sorry to learn by Eddie's letter that you have been sick. He does not state any particulars only that you were recovering, able to sit up some & were cheerful. Also that Dr. K. was attending you & has curtailed his visits to 4 or 5 day intervals now. We are thankful dearest, that you were able to see Dr. K. & that you were doing so well. Trust you are much stronger by this time. Let us hear again soon if you can write without tiring
