Denver Col Sepr 27 - Met Hatch early am & we did the town together City Hall. Fire Dept etc. GAR took possession of Genl & Tidball & kept them going all day. At night we all went to Theater to see Langrishe in the serious family - only tolerable. Went to bed 11 ½ pm tired out & glad the day was over - Denver a large & prosperous City growing rapidly
