About 1 am we arrived at | About 1 am we arrived at Durango & switched off on side track - All up by 6 am The town much better than I expected - 2500 inhabitants & good stores of specialities - Expected ambulances to meet us. but found none - By accident a post ambulance came in with paymaster we gobbled it - arrived at Ft Lewis 11 am - Hall in Com? Had recd no telegram & did'nt know we were coming Arm of a Corpl blown off in firing salute - | ||
