8th - Went down to Ben Moore & got my horses both of all right. Moore very accommodating - Long talk on hunting - wrote to Fasteu Ma P & to Tooky - went to Town & saw Mr Jimmy - also the Herald reporter Mr Davenport - Telegraphed to Genl Crook about (unclear) & packers - Mr Jimmy seems very good man. appa
