When did I write to you last? Letter Mailed Tuesday last perhaps. Since then I have been pretty busy: Seeing everybody to collect Pew Rents & c. Wednesday paid Mr Wilbur $140.00  Yesterday $40.00 and perhaps more today.  This morning it rains nicely, which is very much regretted.  Cassius M. Clay* was to speak here, according to arrangement, in Court House Square at 1 P.M. today; and a great crowd was expected.  What the result will be, with this rain, I do not know.  Monthly Church was appointed for this Afternoon, but it was decided last night to give it up, on account of the expected
