I hope she has got well before this. Give our love to them all and also to Robert Hughs and Jane. Tell Lewis that we were sorry that we were not a minute or two later starting the morning we came away or else that he was a little earlier so that we could have spoken to him and thanked him for his trouble. Supper is ready, so good bye. Love to all. — Sarah A E.

P.S. Dont think of us as eating supper all the time because we have got through for today! A. S.

Mary, we have missed your letters for the past two or three weeks. What is the reason? Can it be our fault? I hope you will not neglect us entirely if we are a little slow about answering your letters sometimes they are just as welcome. I suppose that tomorrow some of you will be going to Utica to meeting. hope you will have good meetings, and pleasant weather for them. Tell Baby I was very much pleased with his little writing book. I think he had better write a letter to Hattie next time, she wants a letter from him.
