       The children too can take comfort in pouring down to my carpet, as they have just done the little wagon full of dirty playthings of every text then Lucy Jane & Charlie racing through the rooms with any quantity of mud on their feet drawing the baby about. Such little things would be an annoyance to you somewhat as "it would be to me to sit prink'd up ready to receive and that in word without meaning with hollow hearted 'Callers,,

I went up to Almeda's yesterday (& almost every other day since I went home) & wash'd my Blankets look'd over & prepar'd ever so much material to make quilled skirts. I have rip'd Lucys cloack & wash'd it ready to make Sack. I am somewhat [[baulked?]]about Rug stuff "Aunt Harriet" carried of all Albina rags to weave a rug but perhaps I shall pick up something.
  Albina wants to let you have a cheese & I guess it is a good one, & Almeda as one for you too Albina has got most a barrel of Butter in lumps they call it
[left-hand side] I was sure I would'nt have my brush so I put it into my traveling bag every day after using it for most a week - & left it at last.
