 Yours of Jan 6 we received day before yesterday. I wrote to J. Eddie that afternoon and intended to have written a few words to you but I sent the letter with the first of pertimely. We were glad to hear that dear Mother is getting along as well and we judge from the tone of your letter that you all feel pretty bright and cheerful. We have not yet decided just what to do about going home; we have not much courage to stay till summer
