Report of Opr. "M.B.F"
At 7 AM "Opr" arose and found the day force on duty. At 9.45 AM "Opr" went to Plattsmouth with his laundry and returned at 10.30 AM. At 12 PM Opr detailed officers [[unclear]] and "S" to make the dinner. At 6.30 P.M. the night force relieved day men. At 8 PM Opr visited the men and found them attending properly to their duty officer "S" was taken very sick on post and Sergt. "E" relieved him from duty. [[unclear]] in the yard untill 11 PM. At 12 PM the switching Engine commenced working at the east end near the Kansas City R.R. crossing and Opr "W.B.T." and Sergt. "E" followed the engine down and stood near the striker's Hall. Opr meet (2) two men in front of the Hall who said it was "torpedoes" that was out on the track that scared the new swtichmen. Opr "W.B.T" says he received Mr. Pinkerton's instructions of the 9th [[unclear]] as to keeping struck watch on the men
