Lucy offered to keep a school in Brownville for 1.50 per week, but was offered only 1.25. so I suppose she did not go. I have just written to her to home here, help one in my school and study some too, and I pay her board room with me for a month or two; it is exactly what she needs and would enjoy and my task is so hard and I can do so much more good in my school that I am willing to pay her board or a part of it for the sake of having her with me.
