Watch Mr. Morison's hands

Jan 18th 1887 Dear John and Harl,

How is the sore throat Harl? We have seen nothing from your pen this week. We were glad to see Harry. It is cold over here so much so that I have not ever put my head out side the door this year as yet. I want to go down street and get somethings among others some stockings for you Harl. John your stockings are a fraud they are so short. You had better turn them over to some prim little fellow and have some decent length. They were not expensive you remember. Give them to some little colored urchin. I think your club is rather extravagant.
