I suppose you are well | I suppose you are well apprised of all the news & matters of interest Isaac writes so frequently, yet I must write a little to tell you how much I want to see you & to tell over as usual, all the little news of nothings as well as somethings that chequer the routine of every day life. | ||
The week you left, besides cousin Jenny's visit, the girls were both invited to a large party at Mr. Gates' invitation given at 7: entertainments at ten: & I worked busily the day preceding, cutting down dresses, re-furbishing, felling, & 'fixing' & the girls went quite satisfied with their toilet.
